Raindrops Cafe

Also, don't you think "Raindrops Cafe" sounds romantic? *blush*

We chose to sit outside as it's more romantic *blush*, celebrating my boy-friend's bday.

Potato Wedges with Mayo Sauce - $8

Fried Chicken Wings with Sweet Thai Chilli Sauce - $10
Crispy & juicy!

Tataki Tuna - $8
Quite a lot of pepper but it is chewy! I'm impressed by creamy mushroom.

BBQ Chicken Pizza - $9
Amazing that the below part does not have the burst one. A thin crust. Totally different from pizza hut. A nice one! I want to eat that again!

 This is the cool-est thing i ever seen.

Mushroom Carbonara - $12
My dish. The creamy is just nice, not overpowering. That's what i like. Had mushroom & bacon on it. *thump-up*

Squid Ink- $14
The black spaghetti is abit salty. However, the prawns are awesome! This kind of prawns, i want to cook. But where can i find? Please email or tag me if you know where and i will always love you!
After you finish eating a whole plate of 'squid ink', you will find yourself.......

disgusting! Your whole mouth, even teeth & tongue,are covered with black colour.

Chicken Leg LemonGrass with Pumpkin Risotto - $15
Tasting! Juicy! Best recommendation, i must say!

Grainfed Ribeye Steak - $18
Such a lovely dish. Sadly or Happily, i don't really like steak. DIFFICULT to chew. Also, don't like the fats. Whatever it is, my gf said it's yummy-yummlicious!

Alot of food hor? Lol.. Shared by 4 of us only. Yet, we managed to finish it all. We were so famished mah. What's more, these food gave us a 'shiok' feeling. The prices are very reasonable.

A great pity that i did not get a chance to try their desserts. Cos it was my boy-friend's bday and we already had a huge cake! ~bloated~

The boss Andy and the other boss are super young, super friendly & super cheerful. Best service! Had a nice-short-chit-chat with Andy.
I will definitely visit there again and try the other food.

Ma Maison

When I entered, felt welcomed & cosy. The surrounding looks romantic, more like for couples just like me and my gf. *blush*

Cheese Fritter - $9.20

Cheeeessy! I love it. Not bad.

Scallop Hamburger - $19.80
My gf's one. I tried and it was yummlicious esp the scallop!

Pork Croquette - $12.80
Not bad. But but.. this black sauce is abit-quite salty. My god. This meant for only people who love salty. That's round-round-salad is super fresh!

The staffs are polite & attentive. The moment you raise your hand, they will attend to you immediately. Overall, their service of course are excellent!
Next, i wanna try Tonakatu (pork cutlet).
Expensive for students like me. Of course it's ex cause it's a Japanese!

Hello friends! Welcome to 6foodforthought.bs.com! This blog is just simple and it's all about food. Either i eat or i cook/bake.

Why 6foodforthought?
Cause foodforthought can't be used and there is someone (dun know) is using. Since 6 is my favourite number, i added the '6'. *blush* 'Food-for-thought' is like my learning of the day.

Eating: I always love to explore and try new & different food at different places.
So.. when you have a good food to recommend, do share with me, okay? Love to hear from you.

Cooking & Baking: Being a noobie, i cook and bake with a passion. Hence, i like kitchen life. Love to feed my loved ones. Every dish, i always want to learn. When you taste, i always want to know your feedback. Cooking/Baking is all about homes. It doesn't have to be in restaurants. Keep experiementing, keep repeating and keep improving are all fun and exciting. I wish to have a kitchen in my room. *blush* Lol...

As for photo: Some people think taking photo of food, must take beautiful photo. Well.. mmm... to me, maybe not. but but... Meanwhile, just look at the photo & drool can liao, okay? lol.. *blush* I will learn from my abang or few photographers of mine.
