When it arrived at my table, one word "Chey". Nothing to wow about
I would say Macdonald breakfast is better than this coffee bean breakfast.hmm... Perhaps..... mmm... maybe... Should try other dish?? Must i? Should i?
Oh yes... a friend of mine, dislikes salad and requested is it possible to change. But 2 words from the staff, "Cannot, madam." Wtf. (-_-) Yes, they are polite and well-mannered BUT isn't making customers happy is the main thing?? Well........

Indulge

Indulge is 4 years old.

Bought voucher from streetdeal.com last few weeks ago and today, we had this for lunch.
Deluxe Twin-size Platter- $29.90 for 2 persons = 2 main courses + 2 soups + fresh salad + 4 pieces of crispy prawns + cajun fries + 2 ice lemon tea!

Ice lemon tea.
Tomato soup- Not so bad. Not so bland. Not so thick.
One is 'Indulge Chicken Steak' - Our succulent chicken steak, grilled to perfection comes with our Mushroom braised sauce.
The other one is 'Grilled Salmon' - Grilled juicy salmon drizzled with cold lemon cream sauce.
The food was very normal. Nothing to wow or complain about.
But but but............ only crispy prawns are yummilicious!! Coasted with taste-like-wasabi sauce. And surprising, they added nuts on it. Hence, it's crispy and crunchy. =)

All in all, worth it?? I guess so. They are having lunch promotion as well. So it's like no difference from buying those voucher from streetdeal and lunch promotion. -___-
Lastly, how can we end without a dessert?

We tried 'Signature Chocolate Lave Cake' - Top up $3. Usual price is $5.90.
A hot-warm-dessert. Just chocolate chocolate chocolate.
This chocolate lava is like nothing special and where can i find the best chocolate lava? =(
I thought it should be a smoothy chocolate lava??

Service: Friendly. Food came quite fast.

ddukbokkie

ddukbokkie is a korean language for 'hot and spicy rice cake'.
Top: Rice cake (top) - $6
Below, left: Sweet and Spicy Tapokki Hot Sauce - $2.40
Below, right: Mat Kimchi (cut cabbage kimchi) - $3.90
Bought it from Korea shop. Tampines One (basement) has one.

It's really really easy to make. Just boil can liao...
Firstly, add a cup of water, together with rice cake. Boil them. To soften the ricecake.
Then, add the sauce and stir occasionally.
Lastly, add
Mat Kimchi if you want to.
Finally, you can enjoy your ddukbokkie. As simple as ABC, isn't it? (^_^)

I so so love it!! No matter how spicy it is, eating them are enjoyable.
Ricecake is so chewy... Love it, love it! However however, the mat kimchi was quite salty on the first day. But but, the leftover on the 2nd day, it was much better, less salty.

eat ate eaten in Malacca

For 2 days, we have been eating this and that @ everywhere in Joker Street.
But few makan are not from Joker Street.
Here we go.................
Bak Ku Teh - RM9
Including Yam Rice. There's pig liver & intestines. oh.. yuck!!! Really have no idea why some people enjoying these. Not only these, there are some meat, which is damn tender.. really soft tat u dun need teeth to bite. The soup is so marvelous. Yes, i only ate the meat and the soup. What an awesome breakfast!

Interesting about durian, which i have not tried before.
They said: "Feel the different, you'll love it."
3 pieces for RM5.
Unexpectly, the durian filling inside, is quite alot. And it goes 'yummy yummy yummy'..
Among all these 3, i vote Durian Crispy Roll as the best one. It's cold, which make me have a nice feeling. The other 2, are not cold.

Feeling thirsty and..... needed a place to sit and rest.
Yes, here we are... No air-con but a cooling place.
Ice Coffee- RM1.99 (promotion).
It's actually RM2. 1 cent only and i was given no change. Thus, it's 2RM.
This coffee ah...... *holy holy crap* Damn damn very very sweeeet.... I kept adding water water water.
RM5
This laksa, you won't find it in Singapore. oww... Though i could not finish it, i miss it. Was bloated man. =( btw, it's quite spicy.
Karyin, can you go over to Malacca and da bao
 for me?

RM3
After laksa, eating this, shiok man. Coooolll........

Both laksa and cendol are at.....

which a malaysia friend of mine, recommended.
Waffle hotdog - RM3.50
Not bad as the waffles is crispy and yummy. But but... I don't taste any cheese at all.
"Grape" ice cream- RM3
Grape? I asked is it Grape? To double confirm. She nodded.
Bought it and it's totally not grape lor. Taste like YAM! Yuck, i hate yam. boo... *thump-down*
Thump-up for yam lover.

As you see the signboard,
2 sticks = RM5
1 stick = RM3
Tried
black pepper and bbq flavours.
The black pepper one, wah piang.. so salty. (*_*)
As for bbq one, which i prefer, is not bad and abit abit hot.

Next, was sooo looking forward to...........

Satay celup!!
There are only TWO satay celup shops in Malacca.
One of them is popular and was built long long ago. The other one is like "copycat" and quite new. Of course, we went to the famous one where there is a long queue. Though the queue was long but the waiting is worth it!

RM0.80 per stick
They charge by the number of sticks. At the end of the day, we will given free drink. The boss concocted this drink. Awesome awesome! I want to go again!!! How nice if Singapore has one. =((

No air-con but we enjoyed eating and chatting.
Chicken Rice!
Half-chicken- RM9.50
Whole-chicekn- RM18
Rice balls- RM0.30 for 1 ball
Chicken is about the same as Singapore. Just that the interesting part is a rice ball. Cool hor?

Durian puffs
You made me feel high! The best tasted i ever had. Among all all durian puffs, i never had so much durian fillings in my life.
No wonder they mentioned that it's "Freshly made."
Price ah..... erm...... psps.... can't remember.. It's better not to say than the wrong price, right?

RM5
Licking durian ice cream, made me thirsty.

Another durian!!!
Durian Cendol!!! Haa.... RM5
One word: Fantastic.

If i were not bloated, i wouldn't share with Karyin and will have the whole bowl for myself. Also steal from her. haa.. Okay, i'm bad.
Don't u realise in Malacca, we ate alot of durians hor?! I know we siao siao. =)
What to do? Durians in Malacca are super fresh.

Lastly,
RM2.20
It brought me unforgettable feelings.
They mixed with the coconut and the vanilla ice cream.

*gulp gulp gulp*
Finished within in 1 min. *satisfied*

That's the end of our stomach.

Malacca, i will visit you again.

Arnold's

Aronld Chicken!! You should try if you have not!
Spring Chicken Set - $10.60
Can i say that it's one of the BEST chicken in Singapore?! Nicer than that KFC chicken lor. But but but hor, i... i... i... prefer the kfc mashed potato. *blush*
Tat Aronld Chicken I tasted was like so heavenly. So fresh that i kept biting biting non-stop!

Happy girl gobbled gobbled all the way and was trying to steal half of my chicken....
Kidding lah. On tat day, she was a nice girl. Only for 1 day lor. =p

I find that the price is quite cheap. Such a huge chicken with coleslaw + fries = $10.60, isn't tat cheap? Just for 2 persons. No gst. No service charge.
At first, without knowing that there is coleslaw included, we ordered a bowl of coleslaw. lol....
Coleslaw- $3
Still better than kfc. I kept eating eating eating. I want to order a huge huge bowl and da bao home. =)
Criss-cut fries- $3
Cheese sauce- 50 cents
I love love love criissssss-cut fries!! (^_^) Prefer this than french fries.

As for the drinks! Wah piang.... so expensive.. Karyin had her ice lemon tea, costs her $2.60 while I had my bandung, costs me $1.90. Just a normal cup yet so ex. -_-
